Want To Hire Imran Yusuf?
Imran Yusuf is known for his lyrical street-slang verbiage and high energy performances. Fast-talking and quick-thinking, he presents hard hitting topics with a light hearted spin. We think he’s one of the most interesting, engaging, and, dare we say it, ‘lovable’ comics around right now. Book Imran Yusuf and you know the audience will be hanging on his every word, captivated by his remarkable charm and uplifted by his wonderfully positive energy.
A Unique View of the World…
Although Imran Yusuf was raised in the UK, he was born in Mombasa, Kenya, and was briefly schooled in the USA. He has travelled much of the world, including Israel/Palestine, Jordan and Saudi Arabia during the Lebanon crisis. This multicultural background has inspired his work, giving him an original perspective that sets him apart from his comic counterparts. Imran also speaks fluent Hindi/Urdu, which has allowed him to go down a storm in the blossoming stand-up comedy scene in India.
5 Star Review Collector
Imran debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010, and although he tried to keep the show under the radar, within a week he’d gained the first of a collection of 5 star reviews, which eventually lead to him being nominated for Best Newcomer in the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award. Impressive. Especially when you consider that he did all of this whilst fasting between sunrise and sunset in observation of Ramadan. Soon after the festival, Imran made his TV debut on the Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
