Want to Hire Marcus Brigstocke?
Book Marcus Brigstocke and you’ll get a scathing rant about modern society and all of its pitfalls, which will leave you laughing your socks off (whilst quietly re-evaluating your own beliefs). He’s a master of satirical comedy, and will tell you unbelievable-but-true stories about his previous career choices. Let’s just say that Marcus is no stranger to dancing on a pole for money… Nowadays, Marcus is very much the ‘tweedy middle class father’, but don’t be fooled by his appearance – he’s still got plenty of fire in his belly (just ask him about his ‘Brig Society’ ideas). And all that pole dancing training didn’t go to waste – he’s still thrilling to watch live, there are just fewer gyrations.
Marcus Brigstocke the Radio and TV Star
Marcus has been in so many shows, we could fill ten pages simply listing them. He’s been a regular voice on Radio 4, with ‘The Now Show’, and, our own particular favourite: ‘Giles Wemmbley-Hogg Goes Off’ (well worth a listen if you can find it online). On telly, Marcus has done it all, including ‘Have I Got News for You’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, and ‘Argumental’. Perhaps his most surprising appearance was on ‘The Jump’, where Marcus competed against other celebrities and showed off his considerable skiing technique (shame about the torn ligament). Oh, and while we’re here, we should also mention that Marcus made a mighty fine King Arthur the smash West End hit: Spamalot!

3. “All my shows are therapy, trying to navigate interesting subjects so I can work them out and to be honest and say some things are beyond the wit of this man.”
