"Neurosis makes for good comedy. It certainly isn't doing Jon Richardson's career any harm." The Guardian

Here are a few of my favourite things…
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with string
Commas used correctly in texts and emails
Re-arranging my DVD collection
Cleaning alone with my marigold gloves
Jon’s not your everyday laid back cool guy; he’s openly neurotic, angst-riddled and obsessive. (Line up girls – orderly queue please). But it’s his honesty about everyday niggles (and what the punishment should be for those people who are afflicted with these annoying traits) which makes him so irresistibly funny.
Jon Richardson…A Show off
Jon took over from Jason Manford as a Team captain in Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats and published his first book called ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You!: Impossible perfectionist seeks very very very tidy woman’ (small ask?) in 2011. Later that year, he became a regular comic on the Channel 4 show, Stand Up for the Week, eventually hosting the show 2012. And it doesn’t stop there… he’s been in his pivotal role in one of the biggest comedy gigs of the year, Channel 4’s Comedy Gala, for 4 years running. To top it off, Jon won a Mind Media Award for his documentary ‘Jon Richardson: a Little Bit OCD’. In summary, he’s a famous comedian, published author and mental health campaigner… A very special guy.
