HIRE TOM ALLEN
We’ve spent dozens if not hundreds of charmed hours with Tom in cars, buses and vans from his early years. And how the man has blossomed!
From his groundbreaking and critically acclaimed comedic performance on BBC1’s Live At The Apollo Tom went on to smash show after show. From 8 Out Of 10 Cats to Mock The Week to Countdown.
Boom.
Tom delivered the goods. And now, well, you know the rest. He’s a mainstay on The Great British Bake Off…oh and did we forget to mention performing alongside HRH Prince Charles on Just A Minute.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU HIRE TOM ALLEN
Unique is a word often overused but in Tom’s case it’s truly required.
Other words: camp, acerbic, cheeky. A wondrous eye for the mundane then thoroughly tailored into comedy gold. An eloquent flair for glorious storytelling.
Tom’s won a bundle of awards too: BBC New Comedy AND So You Think You’re Funny. One of the few comedians to do the double in the same year.
Oh, and it may come as no surprise that Tom is a fully signed up member to The Noel Coward Society.
TOM ALLEN THE ACCOMPLISHED ACTOR
Where to begin?
Tom has acting chops across radio, TV and film? (Is that all acting mediums?)
From his outstanding work with the Right Honourable John Malkovich in Colour Me Kubrick, playing gaily alongside James McEvoy in the Frears classic Starter for Ten…
Then there’s the BBC work with Joanna Lumley: Sensitive Skin and… hello is this namedropping getting too much?… his appearance in Fear of Fanny with British National Treasures Mark Gatiss and Julia Davis.
Let’s face it, Attitude magazine were always going to name Tom Allen ‘a gay role model’.
He’s written columns aplenty for such esteemed publications as The Guardian, The Scotsman, The Independent and, er, The Lady.
