Conversational storytelling
Quick-thinking wit
International live comedy
Andrew Maxwell has a knack for making a complicated world feel a little more ridiculous. He follows an idea, finds the contradiction and lands the punchline with an apparently effortless shrug.
The Dublin-born comedian combines conversational storytelling with a lively interest in politics, people and the peculiar things we take for granted. His delivery is relaxed; the thinking behind it is anything but. Serious subjects can enter the conversation without the comedy leaving the room.
Andrew’s screen and radio work includes QI and The News Quiz, while his voice is instantly familiar to viewers of MTV’s Ex on the Beach. Alongside broadcasting, he has built a substantial international stand-up career.
For an audience that enjoys an opinion, an unexpected angle and a properly crafted joke, Andrew offers plenty to get stuck into. Tell us about your room and we’ll help you explore the fit.
