— LIVE COMEDY / MEET THE TALENT
Everyday life.
Extraordinary flights of fancy.
Dylan Moran turns life's irritations into gloriously unexpected stories. Dry wit, surreal detours and a wonderfully distinctive way with words: familiar frustrations, seen through a very different lens.

AT A GLANCE

International stand-up
Dylan Moran can start with an ordinary annoyance and end somewhere wonderfully strange. His comedy is full of sideways observations, vivid images and sentences that take a scenic route to the punchline.
He co-wrote and starred in Black Books, the BAFTA-winning sitcom that introduced viewers to the spectacularly unhelpful bookseller Bernard Black. His screen work also includes Shaun of the Dead, Run Fatboy Run and Notting Hill.
Dylan won the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1996 and has taken his stand-up around the world. On stage, the apparent ramble is part of the pleasure: an idea opens into another idea, then suddenly everything clicks into a joke.
His humour has its own rhythm and point of view. If your audience enjoys language, absurdity and a little affectionate despair at being human, there’s plenty here to explore.
