Hire Micky Flanagan… Now!
It was about 1998 when Micky Flanagan closed our first show in an old pub, The Reliance in Old Street (still there, but a bit trendier now!). Anyway, needless to say Micky did a sterling job… now look at him! Incredible talent and lots of hard graft got this East End lad on the box, and we couldn’t be prouder. Warm and as affable a chap as you’re ever likely to meet, Micky was well known on the circuit way before he made it big. It took a storming performance on The Royal Variety Show to finally secure his ‘top class comedian’ status and his following tour became the fastest sellout since Izzard.
Going Out, Out
Soon “going out, out” became a national catchphrase. That’s when you know you’ve cracked it! Book Micky Flanagan and you can be safe in the knowledge that he’ll create an intimate atmosphere of ‘having a chat down the pub with your mate’, which is quite an achievement, given that he’s regularly appearing at massive venues – his ‘Back In The Game tour’ included three shows at Wembley Arena and a seven night run at The O2.
“Astonishingly good – a cockney extraordinaire and cracking stand-up.” TIME OUT
