HIRE HAL CRUTTENDEN NOW!
It was 2012 when Hal’s career really took off, and he hasn’t looked back (not even in a camp, flick of the hair sort of way). With two appearances on the Royal Variety Performance under his belt and a stint as the host of ‘Live at the Apollo’ on BBC 1, Hal’s fast becoming a familiar face on TV. Book Hal Cruttenden and you’re getting one of our country’s best comedians – and don’t just take our word for it, ask ‘Chortle’, who nominated him for the prestigious ‘Best Club Act’, or perhaps you could ask one of the thousands of people who laughed their way through his sell-out year-long tour:‘Tough Luvvie’?
UNASHAMEDLY SUBURBAN
Hal Cruttenden happily embraces his suburban origins, and is, by his own admission, teetering on the edge of a mid-life crisis. His camp delivery belies his status as a married man (now divorced, eek) and a father, all of which is on show when it comes to patio furniture and one-upmanship with the neighbours. According to The Scotsman ‘he takes the personal and the ridiculous, and whizzes them into a delicious comedy smoothie that’s sweet with a hint of sharpness.’ An accomplished actor (he’s been in ‘The Madness of King George’, ‘Shackleton’ and ‘Eastenders’, you know), Hal is an incredible performer – animated, funny and absolutely fabulous!
