Hal Cruttenden happily embraces his suburban origins, and is, by his own admission, teetering on the edge of a mid-life crisis. His camp delivery belies his status as a married man (now divorced, eek) and a father, all of which is on show when it comes to patio furniture and one-upmanship with the neighbours. According to The Scotsman ‘he takes the personal and the ridiculous, and whizzes them into a delicious comedy smoothie that’s sweet with a hint of sharpness.’ An accomplished actor (he’s been in ‘The Madness of King George’, ‘Shackleton’ and ‘Eastenders’, you know), Hal is an incredible performer – animated, funny and absolutely fabulous!
