Josh Widdicombe turns the things that bother him into sharply observed stand-up, with an exasperated tone and an eye for the mundane.
Josh’s comedy begins with recognisable situations and follows their absurdity a little further than most people would. His style is conversational and precise, building stories out of minor annoyances, habits and the puzzling way people behave.
Alongside his stand-up tours, he is known for The Last Leg and co-hosting Parenting Hell with Rob Beckett. His television work includes Hypothetical, Hold the Front Page and appearances on Live at the Apollo. He has also written the childhood memoir Watching Neighbours Twice a Day… and filmed the stand-up special Bit Much.
