Want to Hire Josh Widdicombe?
Josh Widdicombe is one of the freshest comedy stars out there. It’s almost as if he was born to do stand up: after only a few gigs, he made it to the ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ final at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and in the last few years his career has sky rocketed. Josh’s particular brand of humour centres around the absurdity of his slacker life style. Book Josh Widdicombe for a self-assured, unassuming comedian who’s often exasperated, sometimes sarcastic, and always funny.
Widdicombe Cherubim
Since his first few shows in 2008, Josh Widdicombe has been named FHM Stand Up Hero 2010 and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2010. He’s also guest-starred on some of the nation’s favourite quiz shows and started his own radio show on XFM, voted ‘Best New Audio Podcast 2013.’ Perhaps his biggest break so far was co-hosting The Last Leg with Adam Hills. All that, along with his appearances on ‘Live at the Apollo’, this baby-faced chap with the cherubic curls has managed to achieve an awful lot in such a short space of time – and is rapidly becoming one of the most recognisable comics on the telly.
