Norman Lovett's stand-up is understated and offbeat, allowing ordinary observations to take surprising, surreal turns.
He is known for playing Holly, the ship’s computer in Red Dwarf. The role brought his distinctive delivery to television audiences, with appearances across several series and a return in The Promised Land.
His other screen work includes the sitcoms I, Lovett and Asylum. Alongside these acting roles, his live comedy has established a style built around dry observations, pauses and unexpected ideas rather than a rush of punchlines.
