Want To Hire Phill Jupitus?
Who doesn’t love a bit of Phill Jupitus! The English stand up comedian is most known for his appearances as the team captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, he’s been the captain since the shows inception in 1996 and has appeared regularly on various other panel shows such as QI and Radio 4’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue. Phill takes his second name from his stepfathers surname and shortened his first name to Phill due to his mother’s reminders that his full name Phillip is spelt with two L’s, something he took over to the shorter term- pretty simple thinking right?
The Performing Poet

Before Phill became an established comedian, he began to write political poetry and drawing cartoons in distracted moments, he then went onto performance poetry where Jupitus really began to make a name for himself touring with bands such Billy Bragg, the Style Council and the Housemartins. Audiences begin to love him as he is one hell of a massive, hairy noisy presence, and the shows he performs have a sense of indulgence about them.
