Neil is an Irish stand-up with years of touring and broadcasting behind him, and a particular talent for thinking on his feet.
Neil’s comedy moves at a lively pace, combining prepared stories with instinctive improvisation. He is comfortable finding the fun in a conversation as well as delivering a carefully built routine.
A long-standing regular on BBC Northern Ireland’s The Blame Game, he has also appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI and Countdown’s Dictionary Corner. Radio listeners may recognise him from The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth and Fighting Talk. He does seem to enjoy a question.
His live career includes shows at Dublin’s Vicar Street and Belfast’s SSE Arena, alongside appearances at the Edinburgh, Melbourne and Montreal comedy festivals. That breadth of experience gives him plenty of practice in meeting a new audience and finding its rhythm.
Neil has also written and presented television documentaries on the Vikings and St Patrick. He brings curiosity, pace and a sharp comic mind to the stage, with plenty happening between the planned punchlines.
